Andrew Peters is a professional ship carver and was appointed as the Swedish East India Company's ship's carver during the building of their replica ship of 1738. He was then commissioned to carve the figurehead for Hermione, the French replica ship of 1780 and in 2020 was commissioned to carve a new figure for the iconic ship, the Cutty Sark.
