Scott's Forgotten Surgeon, Dr. Reginald Koettlitz, polar explorer was recently launched at Discovery Point, Dundee, home of the RRS Discovery.

A presentation of a number of artefacts used by Dr. Koettlitz during the 1901-04 Discovery Expedition was made by his great-niece, Ann Koettlitz.
